Business Hours & Customer Support

  • Hours of Operation: Monday - Friday, 9 AM - 5 PM PST
  • Customer Support: We respond to emails within one business day. To cancel or adjust orders, please call us at 818-785-2002 during business hours, before your order is marked as shipped or partially shipped, or submit a support ticket.
  • Non-Business Days: Saturdays, Sundays, and national holidays are non-business days.

Return Policy

We value our customers and understand the challenges of finding the right fit. Our team is here to help guide you with sizing—feel free to call or email us during business hours.

 

General Return Guidelines

 

  • Return and Exchange Window: 30 Days prior to 9/10/2025 and after this date items can be returned within 60 days of delivery, provided they are in new, unused condition, with original packaging and tags intact.

Products returned with detached tags, damaged manufacturer supplied boxes or damaged products will either be refused or charged a restocking fee ranging from $5 up to 50% depending on the condition of the item and the circumstances of the return. If you return the items back to us and they are in a condition other than exactly how they were shipped out from us, you agree to the restocking fee of our choosing (we will be fair) and will offer you different options.

  • Shipping Fees: Original shipping charges are non-refundable. Refunds are issued only for the product price.
  • Exchange Shipping: Buyer covers shipping charges to us, while we will ship the exchanged item for free to the buyer. The exchange period is 60 days from the receipt of original product. We will not cover shipping for exchanging a previously exchanged item. (Only applies to Domestic 48 Mainland States AK, HI, PR and Protectorates are excuded from this policy and the buyer will have to pay shipping both ways)
  • Condition Requirements: Returned products must be in their original condition with all tags and packaging. Items returned with detached tags, damaged packaging, or any signs of wear may incur a fee depending on the condition of the return. We reserve the right to refuse returns if it's returned in a condition that is no longer sellable.
  • When Returning Skates: Please make sure the blades are pointed to oposite sides of the box to prevent damage to the skates

Please be advised that all hosiery items (tights, socks etc) are only returnable in new condition. Please don't return used tights or socks as we do not resell these products in used condition. Your return will be denied.

 

If Item is Defective or Incorrect Item was Received

Contact us within 72 hours of receipt with photos at support@figureskatingstore.com for a resolution.

Item Arrived Damaged by Courier

All courier damaged shipments must be reported within 24 hours of receiving the item, please keep all packaging itact as it will be used to file an insurance claim.

 

Exchanges

 

  • Exchange Window: Must be completed within 60 days of receipt. Items should be in new condition with all tags and packaging intact.
  • Shipping for Exchanges: We cover shipping charges for exchanged items within the mainland U.S., this does not include Alaska, Hawaii or Puerto Rico, shipping charges for the exchange of the products in these territories will need to be covered by the buyer.

Refusal to Receive or Unable to Receive Package due to Unavailability

  • If you package is returned to us as refused or undeliverable, we will try to contact you withing 72 hours of receiving it. If we're unable to reach you we will refund your order less any shipping costs that we have incurred. Outgoing shipping and return shipping charges will be deducted from your refund.

 

Sizing Advice Disclaimer

 

Sizing assistance is based on the information you provide and manufacturer charts; therefore, we cannot assume liability for incorrect sizes. Pre-paid return labels are not provided free of charge for returns due to sizing recommendations unless the fitting occurred in-store. 

Return Instructions and Tips

  • When returning ice skates, please face blades in the opposite direction ( the same way they were shipped to you, so as not to damage the skate boots during shipping, if skates are returned incorrectly and are damaged, a restocking fee will be charged depending on how damaged the skates are.)
  • Package the items in such a way that they will not be damaged during transportation. We're not responsible for damage to items which has occured during return transportation.

 

RETURN LABELS

We do not provide free pre-paid return labels (unless we made an error), however you can purchase pre-paid return labels on our website in the returns category at a significantly discounted rate.

Shipping Policies

Processing Times

  • Orders placed after 7 AM PST ship the next business day. Orders typically ship within 1-2 business days.
  • Shipping Times: Standard shipping takes 5-7 business days. For specialty brands like Jerry’s Ice Skating Apparel, processing times may vary.

Expedited Shipping
Expedited shipping is available by phone request for an additional fee. Please call us at 818-785-2002.

Domestic Shipments
We use USPS, UPS, or FedEx for shipping. If you prefer a specific courier, please request it by phone; otherwise, we may substitute with an equivalent service for expedited delivery.

International Shipping

  • Service: FedEx International Economy (6-10 business days) or Priority (3-5 business days)
  • Import Duties & Fees: International customers are responsible for all import duties, taxes, and fees.

Non-Deliverable or Refused Packages
For refused or non-deliverable packages, we may deduct shipping fees from the refund. Packages returned undeliverable incur return fees, which may exceed $20 domestically and up to $300 internationally, depending on package size.

Lost Packages & Insurance

  • Domestic: UPS, Fed Ex packages include $100 insurance. If additional insurance is purchased, we will pursue a claim if the package cannot be located after delivery.
  • International: We insure international packages free of charge. Refused or undeliverable international shipments will result in significant deducted fees from refunds because we get charged customs plus a return shipping fee as well as the original postage fee.

Holiday & Non-Business Days
The following are non-business days and are not included in shipping timeframes:

  • Holidays: New Year’s Day, Martin Luther King Jr. Day, Presidents Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Columbus Day, Veterans Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas Day
  • Weekends: Saturdays and Sundays

INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING 

Fed Ex Economy (1-2 weeks delivery + 2-3 days processing)

Fed Ex Express (up to 1 week delivery + 1-2 days processing)

Priority Mail (2-3 weeks delivery + 2-3 days processing)

Priority Mail Express (5-7 business days delivery + 1-2 days processing)

All parcels have a chance of getting held up by customs, we are not responsible if such event occurs because it is out of our hands.

   Duties, Taxes, Customs & Import Fees

      Your country's import duties, taxes and fees are not included in your order total. International orders are generally subject to local import duties and taxes (VAT). These fees will be due once the shipped goods arrive at the country of destination. You are responsible for import duties, taxes, and fees and for complying with the laws and regulations of the country of destination. FigureSkatingStore.com does not have any responsibility on any additional charges that may apply.

IMPORTANT: If you refuse to pay customs fees to your country's customs broker, those fees still get charged to us at the rate that was originally quoted to you as well as storage and return fees. We will deduct these fees from your refund if the package comes back so please don't refuse to pay the customs fees unless you understand the consequences. This is the policy of all customs agencies around the world.

 

   SECURITY (international)

      For your protection we will contact you to verify your identity to prevent credit card fraud. If we are unable to verify your identity, we will not ship the order and refund it.

  1. We will insure your international package Free of charge to guarantee a full refund in the case a package gets lost. 
  2. If the shipment comes back to us as undelivered, or if the delivery couldn't be made because the recipient was not available - we will contact you via email and notify you. The returned shipment will then be put on hold for a period up to 30 days during which time the buyer can contact us and provide a different shipping address as well as pay another shipping fee. If we are unable to reach you during the 30 day period we will refund your order less any shipping costs that you originally paid. In the instance shipping was free or discounted the amount of shipping fees that we ended up paying to the carrier will be deducted from the total amount refunded.
